Love to go there again!

Location was excellent right on the beachfront and only a short cab or boat ride to the main town. There were two gorgeous pool areas that were serviced by a bar and cafe. The buffet breakfast was amazing - they didn't forget anything. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

The beach. It is from another film. You need to up grade everything ! Make it modern, confy and clean. Bring some sand, remove the stones.

Great stay

KBR is a great hotel, located very close to the city centre with multiple beaches and amenities nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. The rooms were very spacious and offering a great sea view.

Beach towels are limited to one per person per day, which isn't ideal. Car park is quite small and you are not always guaranteed a parking spot, even though you are a hotel guest.

Lovely hotel, with great views- perfect location.

The location was great- boat Taxi and bus stop at hand. Very clean, great views. Lovely staff at the spa, nice lunch menu and a couple of beach bars very close.

Well located fun family holiday

Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Right on the beach. Staff were exceptional. Friendly and helpful. Water taxi comes right to the beach. Restaurant was good. Pools were great in the heat of the day. Bus stop 8 right outside the resort.

Rates were extremely high.

Don’t tell anyone, but I really liked it and want to return next year.

Beautiful location tucked into the hillside. Stunning views of the sea and small islands, delightful gardens from your balcony. Breakfast buffet is served in the Amvrosia restaurant. Here you can find a selection of cooked/cold continental/ pastries/ fruits/ bread/ muffins/ preserves/ juices and fresh water and the Omelette/pancake bar. Tea and coffee served at your table. To say the staff are helpful is something of an understatement. They are all invested in one thing and that is to make sure you have a great holiday. Two pools with easy access steps and a small toddler pool. The K Bar serving drinks and snacks between the two pools was always a welcoming, clean and well staffed watering hole. Light lunches delicious but if you want something more substantial then that was catered for in two further dining areas overlooking the Aegean. Access to the beach down paved shallow steps or a slope with handrail. Staff available to bring drinks down to you on the beach. A few yards along the beach is the Water Taxi jetty. There is a timetable sign and you just wait on the beach, (not on the jetty, the guys need room to jump off and tie up the boat plus bits of the jetty move when the boat gets alongside) A trip into Skiathos Town takes 15mins and costs 4 euros and you arrive right in the middle of countless shops and water front bars and restaurants. Back up on the main road are bus stops to take you into town or along the coast to some wonderful beaches. Two euros to get to Koukounaries for example. Buses run every 15 mins and the bus stops are numbered. Kassandra Bay resort is number 8. We hired a Suzuki Jimny for a couple of days, organised by the hotel. The car was delivered and picked up. Communication with the hotel before the holiday was easy by email. Information about our stay, any special requests and queries were readily and promptly dealt with.

The downside about being in such a pretty location is that you have to be able to manage a few steps and gentle slopes.

The hotel location is perfect. the water taxi comes right outside the private beach taking you straight to skiathos town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and attentive.

Their was nothing NOT to like! it was fantastic.

It was clean and room cleaning was really ok.

Wifi connection is a disaster. Internet is almost not working and the “3 device max” is a lie. We could only connect 2 devices and no chance to connect a third one. Not a big loss anyway, as the connection was really very poor.

August

The property was set is a lovely location with a private beach. Although there are spectacular beaches on the island this was perfect for our first and final days when we just wanted to relax around the hotel. The waiter service on the beach was a nice touch but make sure you put your towels out on the beds early doors or you might not get that first row umbrella! The gym and spa facilities were really nice and the hotel even offered a complimentary massage for our honeymoon which was a nice touch. I was very impressed that we were able to check into our room upon arrival (10 am) which meant we could make the most of our first day. Although we didn’t eat at the hotel in the evening, the breakfast was fantastic and varied, setting us up for the day. The lunch snack menu was also good and reasonably priced. The hotel didn’t feel overcrowded and was relatively peaceful whilst retaining a bit of life. Staff were incredibly polite and helpful organizing a boat trip, car hire and taxi without fuss. The rooms were cleaned and replenished daily. Whilst we hired a car we did take advantage of the bus stop directly outside and the water taxi which leaves from the beach - both very useful. If you want a place within 10 minutes drive from Skiathos but far enough away to escape the crowds I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Some reviews have said that this hotel feels more like a 4 star hotel as opposed to a 5 star hotel. In some respects I disagree: the facilities and location offer what you would normally expect of a 5 star hotel- we enjoyed a sea view apartment which offered amazing views. That said, the room definitely felt more like a 4 star room. Whilst it’s true that we didn’t book a premium suite, I think it’s fair to say that if you pay 5 star prices you expect a 5 star room- we were both a bit disappointed when we entered the room but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fine. The fridge can be stocked but only upon request- all in all it was clean and comfortable but lacking the luxurious surprises that the more expensive (5 star) rooms probably offered. It was also a bit annoying to find out that the infinity pool which offers lovely views of the beach was only available to premium apartments, which just leaves you with the feeling that you’re somehow on the ‘budget package’- the same could be said for the separate breakfast room, again reserved only for premium guests- again, if you’re paying 5 star prices there really should be no restrictions for guests of a hotel.

Location, Views and Staff all excellent

Outstanding staff. Possibly the best service l have experienced . The hotel location is excellent and the beach access is great , such clean sea. We stayed in the suites so had access to private pool. The breakfast had a good selection and the al-a-carte restaurants food was top class (did not eat at buffet). Close to many excellent restaurants and easy bus access to the lovely town of Skiathos . We also had car hire and there was parking available at no extra cost. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is bit dated . We loved the veranda for lunch and evening drinks and coffees , nice atmosphere , quiet and relaxing

The mattress could be of better quality No pillow menu for 5 stars hotel Would have liked a lounger bed on balcony the furniture was uncomfortable to try lie and read a book WIFI extraordinarily bad , just never worked The children pool was below the suites so could get quite noisy TV had 1 English Channel

Staff are amazing, 3rd stay at the Kassandra and we will be back. From the hotel manager down to the operations team, they are a friendly helpful bunch.

The WIFI in the rooms was terrible, this needs to be resolved to remain a top hotel.

Amazing location, great facilities and exceptional service. Entire team was superb and could not do enough to please all guests. Evi and Rafael in Reception were extremely helpful and Sofia at Pergola Bar/Restaurant one of the most attentive, polite and efficient Hotel staff members we have ever come across
